Brandon Johnson Guitar

Performing in the Radio Heartland studio at MPR Studios – St. Paul, MN

I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years and have been playing professionally since 2009. During nearly a decade of national touring in my bluegrass jam band Kind Country, I’ve been fortunate to meet my heroes and have shared the stage with a lot of great musicians over the years. I’ve been lucky to brush shoulders with some great pickers like Bela Fleck, Bruce Hornsby, Del Mccourey, Ronnie Mccourey, Bill Nershi, Sam Bush, Peter Rowan, Pat Metheny, Todd Sheaffer (Railroad Earth), Victor Wooten, Chris Pandolfi, Jeff Austin, Billy Strings, Charlie Parr, Sierra Hull, Jacob Joiloff (Yonder Mountain String Band) and Ryan Young (Trampled by Turtles).

I’ve also had the opportunity to share the stage with Bruce Hornsby, The Travelin’ Mccoury’s, Railroad Earth, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Big Wu, Yonder Mountain String Band, Pert Near Sandstone, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades and The Lil’ Smokies.
