“Black Mountain Rag” is a classic old time fiddle tune adapted for guitar. It uses an unusual AAAB chord form and this lesson is played in the key of D, with a capo on the second fret playing out of the C chord position. This lesson is based on the Doc Watson version which he transcribed by ear many years ago while playing electric guitar in a country swing band.
