“Cluck Ol’ Hen” | Doc Watson – Intermediate Guitar Lesson with TAB

$9.00

My arrangement of the classic tune “Cluck Ol’ Hen” in the style of Doc Watson. This song is very well known in the world of traditional bluegrass music but you’ll rarely hear it played the same way twice. This version is based off the Doc Watson and Clarence Ashley version recorded in the early 1960’s when Doc was starting his recording career. Clarence Ashley was one of Doc Watson’s biggest influences, playing and recording with Ashley throughout the 1960’s. In this lesson, we’ll cover the intro rhythm part, the Doc style melody and the rhythm and chord structure.
