Crosspicking “Norwegian Wood” – Intermediate Guitar Lesson

$0.00

In this lesson, we’re taking a look at a crosspicking interpretation of one of my favorite songs to play: “Norwegian Wood” by the Beatles. A bit of Lennon – Mccartney magic, but played crosspicking style! We take the basic melody and then expand on it with alternate picking accents.

Played in 6/4 time, this tune is played out of capo 2 and has a great descending bass line which gives a cool effect when crosspicked. We briefly cover the basic melody of the tune then draw it out and look at a way to add dimension to that same melody by adding crosspicking and alternate picking chord elements.
