Easy Bluegrass Guitar Soloing in 3 Steps for Beginners
$0.00
In this lesson, we’ll take a look at 3 steps to creating a bluegrass guitar solo for beginners. This is a simple approach that I use to solo over almost any chord progression, and will allow you to quickly create a solo on the fly in a live situation. The three steps are:
1. Determine the key of the song
2. Create a solo using the G-run
3. Expand your solo with the C-run and the D-run
Practice your soloing with backing tracks of each chord from 9 Pound Hammer: G, C and D. Then, play a solo over the full chord progression at 80, 90 and 100 BPM.
