The 13 time Grammy Award winner’s influence spans several generations and styles of guitar from country to blues to Jazz. He was way ahead of his time, innovating guitar techniques used by guitarists across many different styles. In this short lesson, we’ll take a look at a signature Chet Atkins lick that uses lots of pentatonic pull-offs. This lick is played over the Ab pentatonic scale but it can also be used while playing the the key of B major.
