A lesson on one of the most well known bluegrass tunes: “Man of Constant Sorrow.” In this lesson, we go in-depth on the nuances of the instrumental, Norman Blake style version of this song. This tune has a 5 bar form and makes use of a I-IV-V chord progression. This tune is a great exercise in crosspicking and is at a moderate tempo which makes it very approachable.
