“Paradiddle” Crosspicking Exercises | 4 Examples – Beginner/Intermediate Guitar Lesson with TAB

A lesson on crosspicking borrowing from a popular drum exercise called the “paradiddle”. In this lesson, we take a look at this very specific pattern that is used by drummers to improve their dexterity and timing and transpose it to the guitar. We’ll be taking a look at 4 different crosspicking exercises over a c major chord. Starting with one note and one string, increasing the difficulty level and eventually working our way up to the fourth, more challenging pattern.
