“Up-The-Neck Lick in G” | Tony Rice – Guitar Lesson with TAB

A lesson on an up-the-neck Tony Rice style lick in the key of G. Most of the licks I have done lessons on so far are in the open position but this lick starts on the 10th fret. Even though it starts higher on the neck, you can still utilize some of the classic bluegrass open string intervals that you can in the open position. Try playing this lick over any song in the key of G or capo up and play the same interval over the G position.
