“Ashland Breakdown” | Bluegrass Guitar Lesson with Tab

$9.00

A lesson on the classic old-time tune “Ashland Breakdown”! This arrangement is a genuine representation of the old-time Americana chord form known as the I-IV-V chord progression. This chord form is the foundation of old-time bluegrass music and can be heard on countless other tunes. My arrangement of “Ashland Breakdown” is also a true fiddle tune rendition based on the Kenny Baker and Bill Monroe version. Played without a capo in the key of C, this tune is also a great exercise in the C major scale.

As always, each measure is broken down step-by-step so you can hear and see how it’s played. Add this classic fiddle tune to your repertoire!
